Not really... It's actually pretty rare. It's just a regular flu. People are freaking out TOO much about it, but I wouldn't be like Supersoradud and not seem to care at all... ^_^

Yeah, I watched this on the news. People have DIED in Mexico because of this..
It is spreading in the EAST COAST, just to let you know. ;)

Yeah, I saw this. And the reason it's in NY, I think, is because a school in Queens had a small field trip to Mexico and they came back with flulike conditions. No, not really spreading up the East Coast.

Mexico is doing so badly, I think, because the AMOUNT of people infected is really tough along with the poverty and current situation there. The swine flu can be deadly, but actually, it's not too much worse (according to some radio station I think was lying) than the regular flu, it is just new since all these years it was in pigs.

This is serious, the flu is said to spread farther around already infected areas or countries and areas. Casualties are also expected to start within the next few months. The sickness is already spreading toward my state from the East. Right now, several areas in afew counties around the world are infected, almost 1 in every continent. If this spreads and continues within the next few months, things are going to get much worse. They had to close off/shut down everything Mexican related that involves Mexicans, including rides into Mexico because of this disease.

So long as you live in a reasonably wealthy country, you'll be safe. There's only been one death outside of Mexico so far, and that's been a Mexican 23-month-old immigrant. As we all (should) know, young children are far more susceptible to disease than teenagers/adults.
