| I hate the Chicken or egg thing.
Because put it this way.
A chicken has to come from an egg, Yea? It's how they're born. But an Egg doesn't have to come from a chicken. There are plenty of birds and reptiles that have eggs.
So, to answer that correctly, the Egg came first... Oddly enough.

| Yay chicken or egg time.
Over evolution, there must be a point where an animal has evolved enough to be called a chicken. This chicken came from an egg laid by the animal before. Therefore the egg came first, but it wasn't a chicken egg but rather another animals egg which made a chicken. The chicken would then lay an egg which would become the first chicken egg. So out of the chicken egg and the chicken, the chicken came first but out of the chicken and the egg that made the first chicken, the egg came first.
Anyone get that?
But neither of those answers are correct because the length of a piece of string is indefinite. So there can't be half of what there already isn't.

Other things lay eggs. The chicken could've come out of another animals egg, because the chicken had evolved from that other animal.

| I asked KGB that chicken and egg question. They came with the reply of "Dinosaurs were laying eggs before chickens existed, therefore the egg came before the chicken." KGB is pretty accurate. | |

| The egg came first. You have the egg for breakfast, and the chicken for dinner.
Simple. | |
