As I said in my previous thread, I was in the school spelling bee. I was one of 17 competitors. (one wasn't there)
The first few rounds were pretty easy, I spelled words like continent. I saw nervous though. Then I was in the top 6. I was the only 7th grader. Everyone else was in 8th. I spelled monopolize right and the 7th grade section went crazy. 3 kids got eliminated and I was in the top 3. The top 3 went on for about 3 rounds. I spelled words such as enfranchise and psychoanalysis. Everyone time a spelled a word, 7th grade went nuts.
Then I spelled fallocy wrong. (that isn't the correct spelling <---)
The girl after me spelled her word right. But the boy didn't. So the girl needed one last word to win. She got it right.
Then we went to sudden death, me and the boy. I got my first one right, so did he. Then I got my second word right while he messed up. I had one more word to spell; omniscient. I got it. I got runner up and back up representative for my school. I got a certificate and my photo taken. Everyone was chanting my name and mobbing me. I couldn't even get to my locker!
Now everyone on Facebook thinks I will win the school bee next year.
