Battlefield 3

I don't know if anyone else eels the same way as I do, but Battlefield 3 looks sooo amazing.

-Graphics are outstanding
-Game looks like it plays very smooth

Im actually more excited for this than I am for MW3.

We know Battlefield 3 will be better in the technology statistic but in the fun statistic I think Modern Warfare 3 will rein supreme.

Battlefield 3 is definately going to be better...

I just reserved Modern Warfare 3 today and they said our store already had 500 copies fully paid off.

But BF3 is beating MW3 in pre order sales!!!

Haha yes. If Call of Duty could incorperate destructability it would eliminate a lot of the campers.

I think they'd have to create a whole new engine to incorporate it into the next game.

It's not fun for the CoD players that run around the map. You're not supposed to play it like CoD. It's game based on teamwork, communication, and team interaction.

Hmm, Battlefield 3 does look amazing, But the problem with Battlefield is that its not fast paced like CoD.
That's probably why most people quit it.
But nonetheless i'm getting it for PC.

Yes, it calls for a completely different play style, and Nooh you will need a new rig to run Battlefield most likely.

Call of Duty is pathetic.


1. It's fast paced because the maps are smalls and the guns kill in a blink of an eye thanks to camping and aimbots and the infamous killstreaks.

2. Call of Duty has been dead since World At War. Now all they do is buff up the graphics, make a few new shitty maps (so they can sell you the good ones later) and add a few overpowered guns and killstreaks and call it a brand new fucking game. Don't get me started on the campaign, because it's total shit.

3. MW3 is going to be like MW2 but will have the customization options from Black Ops so they really look like they worked hard on it. They didnt. They. Did. Not. MW3 uses the same engine as Cod 4 and the only way you can tell they worked on it at all is because of the new guns and maps.Guns by the way, that work on the same engine, and all the guns will virtually feel the same firing them.

3a. And I'm not the only person who feels this way, Machinima Commentators went to E3 to play MW3 and they all pretty much said the same thing "MW3 is MW2 with different guns and glossier graphics".

3b. Battlefield and Halo brag about new engines and in Halo Reach you see Halo change the very way you play the game from Halo 3, they even came up with Halo Wars, which was very original although not very successful. Battlefield is always bragging about an updated Frostbite Engine or a new destruction engine or even a new graphics engine. All the guns in Battlefield fire differently and have their own character. CoD guns dont have characte, so what do they do? Put a camo on them.

3c. This is xJawz. A Call of Duty commentator that makes a bucket of money of his Machinima videos.




Call of Duty has been doing the same shit since World At War, and now it's sad that with MW3 they're not even trying to cover it up anymore. They dont need to. MW3 will sell out BF3 and CoD will be unstoppable for a few more years. Nothing we can do about it. It's the name that sells, not the game.

I agree that not much is changing in the series, but a majority of people, including myself, still think the game is very fun.

I just dont understand how you find stale gameplay so fun. I was phsyched to get Black Ops for Christmas but I sold it by March.

You think about it unbiased for a second, all you have to do is flank routes, use the right guns and perks, drop shot, and suddenly you have a KDR of over 2.1, my personal experience.

I'm not thinking bias. Call of Duty 4 was my first shooter and I just like the gameplay. Not to say that I don't like any other games. I play many different shooters. And I understand were your coming from none of the games have been as good as WaW and CoD4 but the games still are enjoyable for me.
