Tornado warning. D: not going to be a nice day.

Hey everyone...
I'm freaking out because there's a tornado warning for my county, and there was two at one point. It's supposedly east of where I live, but that's the problem..it's moving either south east, or east.. it's a doppler indicated tornado which means the radar is decting rotation..

Wish me luck, cause I'm going bizerk.

There's a watch for us until 8, even worse.

So there's more coming. /=

Yeah, those can be freaky sometimes.I almost had a tornado by me once.It was rampaging everywhere so no one knew exactly where it would go next. :/

Heh, we don't have basements down here. We have to hide in the smallest closet in our house, though we've never got hit by a tornado before, that would be our drill.

i have a old basement. i don't have closet. tornados aren't in my country

What country do you live in? Tornadoes are mainly in every country, some countries don't have them as usual as others but it still can happen anywhere.

Oh, thats a state, not a country. ;)

New York doesn't get tornadoes often, but I'm sure it could happen if there was a a quick change in air pressure. Most likely you guys wouldn't be caught in a tornado though.

we almost got a tornado while i was in 2nd grade almost when school finish. the sky turn brown that i never seen

I'll say what I said to the last people that almost got plowed down by a tornado.

The watch expired early, the warnings are gone, and it's beautiful outside. :D

On the 2nd to last day of school, it started pooring rain on us, the rain turned into hail, and the hail turned into a warm day. We were happy because recess was canceled but for the 4th graders we got to go outside! Then when we were heading outside our princepal was telling us to get into the library instead of going outside because there was a tornado warning for our county, so luckily we didn't get hit by anything. Also, when I went outside when the warning was over, the clouds looked like a rain cloud it was bright and not even close to looking like a tornado. But that day, my whole state had 8 Tornados! IN ONE DAY! So Yeah, it was scary for me. (And out of the 8 tornados, only 1 person died!!)
