I live 2-3 miles away from the movie theater and today my mom let me skate board with my freinds 35 feet from my house :roll: Im 11 and she calls my name every 10 mins! i asked her can i go to the thetre to skate she said no. your to young to be alone. My freinds are eleven and their parents lets them go more than 3 miles and right now they are at the movies skateboarding. Do you think my mom treats me as a baby?

If your going to be off with friends, she should let you skate to the movie theatre.

You're 11 now, for goodness sakes.

She needs to teach you about the real world, she can't be protecting you forever.....

My moms exactly the same. It took me forever to convince her to let me go to a friends house. She doesn't let me go to the school at 8:15!

Thats really unbelieveable

my mom let me go out with friends at like 10 I'm 13 now and can do a lot does she let you stay home by yourself?

You just need to sit down, and talk with your mom and tell her how you feel. Tell here that you don't like it and you think you too old.

I know what it feels like dude. My parents do that to me too and its annoying. I wanna go hang with my friends at like, the bowling alley or something and THEY need to tag along! I'm 12! I can take care of myself!


So I know how you feel, but she is also trying to protect you at the same time as treating you like a baby
