Obama and Security

Wow, I was amazed by the story our teacher told us today.The security with Obama is nuts, but I knew right away why it was...

Ok, so the streets are empty with Obama in this van driving down the road.This woman tries to go around him, but then this gets crazy.The van stopped her, and the doors flew open with men holding machine guns facing right at her.I don't know what happened further, but just to go around the President-Elect?

That's insane, and like I said I understand why it's like this.What do you think?

Oh, and during his victory speech the gas lines under the crowd were rewired, the were all inside a big gate, and it was really tight.

When Obama enters a hotel, it gets cleared out.
When Obama enters a store, it gets cleared out.
When Obama is on a street, it gets cleared out.

Yes, I'm pretty sure that's true.

If they did that too kids, then that would be wrong.How would they know any better(depending on age)?

Still, I do think the security is kinda fair, but kids would be too much..

The social services etc. are required to do this, do you know how many yahoo psychos there are in this world? More then enough to take Obama out. Sure she ended up just being a normal person, for all we know she could've be stalling the drive and setting up an attack.

I agree with Kant.

The security assumes everyone is out to get Obama. That's how they have to treat the whole situation.

What if that woman was intentionally wanting to kill Obama and the security just let her slide? What do you think would happen?

Anyways, Obama is most likey going to be under heavy security for at least 1 or 2 years until people see that he can be a good president. :)

Because of how recently he was elected and how much more vulnerable he is until he gets into the White House, so...yeh.

That's pretty crazy, though understandable. Kinda frightening, really.
