The iPhone/iPod Touch Thread Empty
PostSubject: The iPhone/iPod Touch Thread   The iPhone/iPod Touch Thread EmptyFebruary 3rd 2009, 5:58 pm

This thread is to talk about anything iphone/iPod Touch related like Apps,Features etc....

So anybody know any good apps that is free there is just anything in the App Store anymore

Updates
-Apple released 2.2.1 I don't recommend downloading this if you are jailbroken or your iphone is unlocked tt can be jailbreaked and unlocked but there is a some problems now
-The iPhone Dev team released Redsn0w lite a tethered jailbreak for the 2g.(http://redsn0w.com/)
-Untethered jailbreak for 2g released

Gallery
Dieg's iPod Touch
Spoiler:

The Pros and Cons of Jailbreaking
Pros
-Custom Themes
-Cydia and Installer
-Apps like MxTube,BossPreff,....
-Unlock for iPhone(3g or 2g) users
-Unlimited Possibilities

Cons
-I don't really know you can get your warranty back and you can't really screw up your iPod

How to jailbreak your 2g
So now the 2g has been pwned for life but there is still no QuickPwn/PwnageTool so stick to this

i iz a coder yah
Then use the guides to do it manually
Windows-http://www.ipodtouchfans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=156429
Mac-http://www.ipodtouchfans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=155840

meh iz lazeh
Then use one of these
QuickFreedom(Windows)-http://www.ipodtouchfans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=155875
Untetherizer(Mac)-http://www.ipodtouchfans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=157735

what do meh needz
You need
Mac
A pwned firmware from PwnageTool PwnageTool download-http://iphone-dev.fgv6.net/PwnageTool_2.2.5.dmg(You need to move some stuff look it up in Youtube)

Windows
If you're doing it manually Xpwn-http://rapidshare.com/files/194490615/ISO-8859-1__jailbreak.zip(Same thing as mac move files and create ipsw)

Both
LibUsb-Look it up in google and download it
24kpwn-http://outgoing.ipodtouchfans.com/?d=aHR0cDovL2lwaHduLm9yZy8yNGtwd24uemlw
Redsn0w(Some of the lazy programs dont require it but check first)-http://redsn0w.com/

They're basically the same except the iPhone is a cellphone

Edit:Pictures of my apps
Spoiler:
I know not too much but I got it in christmas plus I promised my dad to not buy anything and can someone help me with this
http://redsn0w.com/
REAL 2g jailbreak by iPhone Dev Team but it's tethered and I'm not sure if I'm doing it but just in case but I'll probablt wait for an Untethered one.

Please don't call it an iTouch, Bam! It is disturbing.

Anyway, is Tap Tap any fun? How about Trace?

I happen to like Scoops. Also the new Bouncy Ball is awesome because you can change the size. =P

It's true you wouldn't call an iPod Nano and iNano so why call an iPod Touch iTouch

Tap Tap is awesome, probably my favorite app and Trace is good but a little hard sometimes and what generation do you have?

=D I'm guessing that is good.

Anyway...

Does anyone know an app like the game Bricks where you hit the ball and try and make all the layers of bricks disappear? A good app that hasn't reported crashes like the ones I looked at.
