| Did you hear about the new firmware coming out this summer (probably June)? It comes with a lot of new features. Unfortunately, Iphone 3g, Iphone, 3gs, Ipod touch 2g and Ipod touch 3g only get this update. It includes the following features:
-Multitasking (iphone 3gs, ipod touch 3g 32gig 64gig only)
-Better mail
-The ability to change your springboard wallpapaper
-Game Center
-Ibooks
-Folders
-Much more
It sounds pretty cool and the beta for developers has been jailbroken. This will also come out for the iPad in the fall.

I think it is pretty cool. I am going to hate to re-jailbreak though :( | |

| Cant u change the springboard already? or am i thinking of the winterboard...
Anywayz does every iphone automatically update the firmware... cauze if not imma not even bother getting it to re jailbreak again.. | |

| Technically, iPhone OS 4.0 is already out. My broski has it  It was $99 though. Devs ftw. |

| Yeah. Same goes for the 2g. The feature they are missing is backgrounding applications. | |

No, but once you download the 4.0 ISPW, change it to a zip and edit it; and change "Mulitasking enabled:false;3gs" to "mulitasking enabled true 3g" or something like that. |
