Apple switching to Verizon?

I just read something that the iPad is coming out to Verizon.

Here is what I read:

It most likely won't happen.
the iPhone (or Verizon) would have to go under many changes for it to work on Verizon's network. It has something to do with the type of network Verizon has or something like that. I can't remember. It's late and I need sleep. But This is the reason why the iPhone works with t-mobile, because t-mobile and at&t share something which I can't get at it. It's on the top of my head. I'll know by tommorrow.

I've never had a chance to try the Droid, but I'd like to.

My current phone is a touchscreen, and it seems to be a beta-style piece of crap. It only came out like a year and a half ago, but it was discontinued soon after and new versions took it's place... I can understand why. It's a fine phone, but nothing compared to what I could do with my iPod Touch... which is why I want an iPhone. If I got an iPhone, I would be able to carry around a single "mobile device" instead of an iPod in one pocket and a phone in the other. I trust my iPod and it just seems perfect. That's also why I would rely on an iPhone to be just as (hopefully) great. In sensitivity, activity, and all that.

Sensitivity is a major one. My current phone's touch screen seems so off, even when I calibrate it. It also seems to be lagging behind after I click or drag. My iPod never needs calibration for the screen and work great. Also, my phone has a huge "Touch to Unlock" button at the bottom of the screen and does not pick up by heat sensors (I suppose). So, before I got my case to go with it, it would unlock itself in my pockets and still does sometimes. iPods, I suppose, are heat traced so that they only pick up on heat signals from your fingers. At least, I guess, since I can't seem to use a touch pen or etc. to control it. Also, Slide to Unlock is great. Even if my phone just had that, it'd be 10x better.

I'm not going to say I hate the Droid since I haven't had a chance to try it, but for that same reason I will say that I would prefer an iPhone. When the iPhone comes out, I'll go phone shopping.

iPhone was released to AT&T first because it's international.

Although, even though Verizon is the superior service it did not get it first because it's only U.S. and maybe some other countries too.
