I Am Legend

I Am Legend Is probably the second best movie ever created. (Iron Man)

Here is pretty much how it goes down.

This lady find a cure to cancer, she instantly becomes famous. Turns out, he 'cure' caused a horrible desiese. Which causes people to loose all hair, become very sensitive to sunlight, and lose all human instincts? The desiese eventually moves airborne, cause 59.1 million people to catch it..9 million people have the cure in their blood stream. So they cannot be affected by it. Unfortunately, the infected monster eat anything the can get their hands on. Leave around 100-500 people left surviving.

Robert Neville, a scientist who stays in New York City after it is evacuated, and his dog, Samantha, are on a journey to find a cure (they can't use their blood, their blood will kill the host). Robert goes to one of the piers every day when the sun is highest in the sky. (most watches don't work now)

Neville has to lock up his house every night before sleeping, because that is when the monsters come out.

He thinks he finds a cure, so he tries to find a human (monster) to test it on. He sets a trap, and it works. Too bad, one of the monsters had a 'crush' on the one he captured. Thus creating a new mortal enemy.

The monsters then set Robert into a trap, the same way he captured the monster. He gets knocked out, until night, when the monsters lurk. Hi dog, Sam, is bit, and eventually turns into a monster dog (Sam is immune to air only, touch will do the trick). Neville has to suffocate his dog.

The next night Neville lures a lot of the monsters to the end of a pier. He then starts his car and starts hitting all of them. (Revenge). He nearly gets killed, until a 'stranger' finds him.

The next day he wakes up and notices the smell of breakfast. The stranger and her son are survivors. They tell him of a place in Vermont, called the survivors colony.

That night, he notices strange noises. He looks out his window, and see all the monsters running at his house. He asks the lady if the monsters had followed them home when she had saved them. She didn't know.

He tells her to close all of the steal covered windows. She does it. As they are getting closer, he runs to a switch box and turn the all on. Hundreds of huge strobe lights turn on (remember, the monsters hate light). It doesn't affect them, and they break them. He then runs to a bomb switch. He turns them all on and ducks down. 40 car bombs explode, one after another. It kills the first wave of monster, but there are more to come.

The monsters break into the house, but cause little harm until the make it into his lab, where they were hiding.

He is inside a extremely strong glass cage With the lady and her son. He tells the stranger to hide in the safe box behind them, and not to get out till dawn. They ask him to come in to, but he is sure on saving the cure. (he has the cure now, and gives it to the strangers) The monster that wants revenge pushs the others to the side, and starts to break the glass. It takes alot of times of him hitting it to finally brake.

While the monster is hitting the glass, Neville opens a drawer and gets out a picture of his Wife and child who had gotten killed. Once the glass is almost broken, he pulls out a Fragment Grenade. (Extremely powerful grenade). The monster finally brakes through and jumps at Neville. Neville pulls the chain on the end of the grenade (sorry, couldn't think of the word.) The grenade explodes and destroys everything.

The next scene shows The strangers driving to the survivors colony. They get there and are welcome, she gives them the cure.

Yeh, It did rock ... I saw it ..but the ending really sucked...

I love that movie! Also, its called a "pin" on the Grenade. Its like a fuse.

I liked the movie, Will Smith makes movies better.

No actually I can seeing how I have almost the same exact taste in movies as my parents, and I trust their judgment.

People have different opinions, doesn't mean their opinions are right.

This was a great movie... It was kinda sad though.

Reall cool movie, One of my favorites. I still don't understnad why he and the other girl and the kid were immune to the virus.

Anyway it's set up on a perfect date: The date where everything turns is Christmas, 2012, where some people think the world is coming to an end.

Don't forget, while the monster is breaking the glass it forms a butterfly, which causes him to LOOK at the picture, since his daughter had always said "what a beautiful butterfly"

Isn't it strange that "the end of the world" takes place in NYC in movies??? I mean, the movie "Cloverfield" takes place in NYC!
