| Hi!
CS4 should be coming out within the next few months, so I was wondering if waiting would be a better option.
I'm planning to get the Design Premium package or its equivalent.
There are a lot of new features in CS4 that I'm looking forward to, especially Inverse Kinematics in Flash, it should make animating a lot easier.
Also, please don't answer that I should get CS3 and upgrade, as that doubles the price I'd pay (seriously, you can't get upgrades from the education store).
So, CS3, or CS4? | |

| I saw somewhere CS4 Beta, but didn't download since i'm sure it's full of SVchost editing commands. | |

| Here are the features I think I'll like the most in CS4:
Flash:
- Inverse Kinematics (easy animation)
- Updated motion tween
Photoshop:
- Seam Carving
Dreamweaver:
- Live view
They're a few things that I know I'll use if they're all included in CS4, that I can't use in CS3.
I'd say that's worth the wait. | |

| CS3. Upgrades are cheap and there aren't many breakthrough updates in versions. I have CS1 - it's the same as CS3 except for a few small changes. Or wait till cs4 and buy cs3 when cs4 comes out for like 200 pounds/400 bucks off | |

| Thanks for this topic. I knew that a CS4 would be coming out, but I didn't know when. It will be coming out just before I can start saving my money to buy it. I was just gonna get CS3, but now I'll get CS4 instead. :) | |
