A Poem about a soldier
A soldier

There is discipline in a soldier,
You can see it when he walks.
There is honour in a soldier,
You can see it when he talks.
There is courage in a soldier,
You can see it in his eyes.
There is loyalty in a soldier,
That he will not compromise
There is something in a soldier
That makes him stand apart.
There strength in a soldier,
That beats from the heart
A soldier isn't a title,
Any man can be hired to do.
A soldier is the soul of of the man buried inside of you.............

If you are a soldier
I am saying this to you.....
Thank god for every soldier

Why are they out there?

I support our troops. Even though the war is starting not to have a point, we should still support them. And it's memorial day here. (Honoring the veterans)

I support our troops, but the war is definently not for our freedom. Ever since George Bush came into office it has been nothing but trouble for America; according to many people, Geore W. Bush is one of the worst presidents in America's history, and I believe so too. The polls in Florida were rigged so that he could win, which is terribly wrong if you're 'new.' And who won the Nobel Peace Prize? That's right, the person who was running against him, Al Gore.

I wouldn't mind moving to London or Europe.

I agree... I hope Obama wins, he will do well.

I can't say that I support the troops, because technically speaking they did know they had a chance that they were going to die when they joined up, and another reason because I think its a worthless cause to "fight for peace" because peace doesn't come from fighting it comes from not fighting.

But I do feel sorry for their families.

John McCain was TORTURED in war, nearly killed in war, and yet he wants it to continue. He never learns. I guess he's lucky enough to have survived, so he doesn't know what he was at. How you never know how lucky you are to be alive until you're dead.


The war is pointless, the war has always been pointless. It's just a free-for-all place out there.

These people are being remembered for sacrificing their lives- for our freedom. There is no freedom in war, there is just death. Now, back, back, back when the British were fighting America:
1. There was a purpose
2. It wasn't a kill-everyone-you-see, it was kill-on-battlefield-ONLY


Soldier are risking their lives for- well, nothing, basically. Certain death for uncertain rewards on the US.

I support our troops.
Peace can only be achevied when our goverment falls. If we were to live like animals, with no gov, there would be no war, gang warfare, racistness, and all around hatred!
If we learned to love our neighbor instead of sticking a nuclear weapon up there @#$ then we just might acheive our goal.

I saw we hydrogen bomb them. (Hydrogen bomb are so powerful, we don't know a safe place big enough to test it. We think it could destroy all of Iraq)
