EDIT: i did install the dulce through cydia and it even says so in the manager wthiny and u click packages downloaded ont he iphone and it wont work it wont show up like that at all! Snookims doesn't explain much. Open Cydia. Search and download Winterboard. Search and download dulce/the theme that you want. Close Cydia and open Winterboard. Just click on the theme's name from the settings list that it shows. When it has a check to the side of it, that means it is enabled. Exit the app and wait for your iPod to restart. The theme should be on there now. To remove a theme or change to a new one, just uncheck it and check the one you want.

I do know that it has the latest OS on it, is it still possible to do it?
Detailed instructions would be nice. :) SSD~

| Mine (and I think the newest update) has 3.1.2 on it. To check yours, go to Settings, then General, and then About. It will be the "version". If it is 3.1.2, then I can get a good guide for you. Otherwise, it is just all searching. I'm sure Youtube would have a guide for every OS. | |

And how do I get the themes to load on my iPod? SSD~ You need to download roms in cydia. You may need to add sources. Pretty sure it's not legal. Also you download the themes in Cydia, then open up Winterboard (Download in Cydia) then check the theme and close it, then it will respring.

It's called, Beach Blackberry it something like that... If you looked for it in the Categories/sections, it is under "Themes (Springboard)", I think. If you searched for it, then it has a lowercase D, if that matters. - iWaddle wrote:

Also you download the themes in Cydia, then open up Winterboard (Download in Cydia) then check the theme and close it, then it will respring. You can do this on computers and all as well. I used to actually do it because it was fun being able to actually beat some of my games. Hacking/editing them was fun too. Anyways, as I've always heard and went by, if you own the game then the rom is legal. I don't think it matters about the system, as they normally make the roms for certain systems only, but I still don't think that matters either way since you aren't taking the system, just the game. You could probably SSH them onto the iPod, but I'm guessing using Cydia would be easier. I haven't done any Rom things with my iPod yet.

| I have gpSPhone (Gameboy Advance) and gameboy4iphone (Gameboy Color)
I use it for Pokemon and Mario. It drains the battery though.
Idk how you edit roms, but it seems fun.
FAKE EDIT:
Nintendo has great information of the legality of roms on their website:

I also noticed that it says SPRING board when i downloaded it.. Whether you did this or not, don't restart your iPod while in the app. Close the app by the Home button and then it will automatically restart your iPod with the theme. The Springboard is the main screen of your iPod, the part that lists out your apps. Take a screenshot of whatever this "Springboard" is that you are talking about and post it here, if you could.

OKAY EDIT AGAIN: i reinstalled it AGAIN and the install went fine so i turned it off and on again FROM THE MENU and umm well it (DRUMROLL)..............didnt work... STILL NOT WORKIGN! what the heck is happining? First let's see if you have everything... I suppose. Here is the Springboard. The only 2 apps that you will need is Cydia and Winterboard. Ignore the black space and all of the other apps there, I had to edit some out and the others are just not important for this. Also, your icons for Cydia and Winterboard won't look the same, that is just how mine look because of the theme. This is a picture of my theme package, dulce. If you are trying to use dulce, or any theme that you had installed, then look for it's name here after installing it. Go to Manage in Cydia and then go into Packages, look for it in that menu. This is the top of Winterboard on my iPod. You can see that I only have dulce (and it's lock screen) checked. This is just the bottom half of Winterboard, to show that I don't have anything else checked. Yours should closely resemble these if you are also installing dulce.

| It is an app that you need to install/use any theme. Search for it in Cydia and download it. After the download is finished, it's icon will appear on your iPod. | |

| No, Winterboard will become an app. Winterboard is another thing that you must download and install from Cydia. After you get it, you will be able to change your themes. :) | |

Eh, I'm not sure. You could look for it in the "All Packages" section, or search for it.
